Its more of a tourist cafe/restaurant with some family rooms. Not fancy but in many ways all the better for that. Absolutely stunning views and at the head of a gorgeous valley with excellent hiking - we arrived in the rain and it was superb to wake up there in the sunshine and see the views! Were really well looked after by Helena who cooked us a great traditional swiss evening meal. Good breakfast.

A real honest to goodness Swiss family run hotel in an Alpine location at the foot of the Susten Pass. Historic, gemütlich, furnishings in comfortable rooms. Andreas Tännler and team are helpful, friendly and efficient. Looking forward to staying again.

The room was clean and the staff was good. The dinner and drinks at the restaurant was also great. The price of the room was also very affordable

Very nice cosy and clean. It’s family run and the owners are really fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming. We had some issue with our booking and they accommodated us without extra charge.

It is in a beautiful location, among the mountains. We were there in April when there were few visitors, and the mountain passes were closed, so there was no through traffic, so it was very quiet and peaceful (but we heard it was busier in the summer). The apartment was very spacious, ideal for our family (with four kids). The area is very nice for hiking, with many natural attractions.

This was a fun stay - it is located about a restaurant that gets quite busy in the evenings, but despite the activity the rooms are well insulated from the noise and are quite peaceful. It felt like getting a true taste of local life, and had a home comfort vibe in a nice village, where I was woken up by cow bells from a passing herd. Well positioned for an overnight stay on an alpine roadtrip. Standard Swiss breakfast with cheese, meats, breads, yogurt, juice, and coffee.
