I booked this for my daughter and her partner. She also stayed at the Waldorf Versaille which actually had fireworks that she could see from her room overlooking the palace. Superb location, right across from the bus and train to Mount Rigi station. Also one minute from the shipping dock to get boat from and to Luzern. We had a room with a balcony which was fabulous. It was a big room with another window- the views were stunning. The staff were exceptional- especially Tomas who gave us invaluable advice. He is wonderful. The waiting staff were excellent. The food was superb and great value in the evening and the morning. They also kept our bags for us while we climbed Mount Rigi.

This is like a dream place. An experience you would hardly forget! The location is dreamy, my room was facing the hills with cowbells ringing all day. Breakfast are exquisite, whatever you like will be served within a minute. Service everywhere in the resort is amazing, stuff is the friendliest and the most entertaining for the ones who travel alone too. You can enjoy several different restaurants with great cuisine and views. Spa in the Waldhotel is perfect, clean and quiet, not many visitors during a low season (i was basically alone there all the time). You can also enjoy some attractions around or visit Luzern by boat fastly.
