Christophe is a dream host, one of the kindest persons I’ve ever met. He showed us the city, gave tips, brought us into the city by car when the weather was bad and he’s really funny. My tour guide forgot to pick up us but Ita called them and sorted out the issue. He even drove us to the Easter island museum so that my family does not waste our precious time until the new tour guide came and pick us up. Great service and hospitality. We travel a lot and are quite a picky travellers. Kona Koa combines hospitality of family hotel with big hotels stadards. True, there is no aircondition, but I was happy as we always have fight if to switch it on or not :). You are treated as relatives comming to visit your remote family. The host offered us free shuttle to and from airport, greeting with flowers and seeing off with little Rapa Nui wood statues. When he learnt that we will miss opportunity to do tours due to our travel tiredness, he even drove us to some of the scenary spots personally.
