As an Austrian travelling alone, I didn't expect to receive such warm-hearted and generous support to help me find my way around Guilin and other travel routes. I was always personally catered for and received valuable tips for my day. I was also unaware that the location is so close to the centre and that you can still avoid the hustle and bustle of the city. It so happened that we stayed in three different rooms in the hotel during our stay. All rooms were clean, functional, and very nice. Sympathetic, polite and helpful staff who spoke English. We had no problem leaving our luggage for our one-day trip to Yangchuo. The location of the hotel is right next to the lakes and the park surrounding them.
