    This hotel is very special. The hotel in the evening was quite magical. It was as if we were staying and really experiencing life in a traditional Chinese family house. The staff was attentive, friendly and informative.

    We loved our stay at Harmony, the family who run the place are super helpful, really good English if that's what you're looking for (we accepted it as not a problem but it's of course really helpful) and the good there is incredible. Highly recommend and also there is the Cozy bar on the other side of town which is really fun. One of the best places we've stayed during our 6 month travels. The rooms are also beautiful and just the whole place! Can't recommend enough.

    We love the Pingyao Ji Family Courtyard Inn. Staff are lovely and very helpful, rooms are traditional. Convenient for everything to see and do in the town. Hire a car and driver from reception - visit the locations listed on the chart.

    Staying at Pingyao Ji Family Courtyard Inn in Pingyao was a truly memorable and wonderful experience for me. The hotel has been brilliantly refurbished and equipped with modern hotel amenities (e.g air conditioning, modern toilets and showers, etc) in a manner that makes it extremely comfortable and convenient, yet without lessening the authentic, old feel which makes it so appealing.I feel it was the exceptional hospitality and genuine friendliness of the staff that made my stay so great.

    A traditional Pingyao family home inside the city walls but away (5-10 minutes walk) from the busiest tourist part of town. The hosts are lovely. I stayed 2 nights. The first night I was the only guest and I met the family’s delightful 11 year old twin daughters. All in all a great place to feel part of an older China.

    amazing trip in pingyao. the room was perfect, with amazing baldaquin beds for our family. the guesthouse is attached to a good restaurant where you can mix with locals. very helpful staff to help arranging tickets for shows, taxis & visit around pingyao. nice breakfast, a mix of occidental & chinese food.

    Staying at the Pingyao Ji Family Courtyard Inn was rather magical.The staff free upgraded my room. Every time I exited or returned she immediately came outside and asked if I needed anything. The staff speak English so well made my trip easier. It's a special place.
