The staff members are all exceptional, in particular Jonny’s, elieser and Lydia. The rooms are very spacious, clean and with simple but nice furnishings. The wooden flooring and the high roof, gives the bungalow a very stylish outlook.

We arrived late afternoon which meant our room was ready straight away. The hotel were helpful in advance letting us of the park entrance ticket booth closing time which meant we arrived before closing time (5pm). The hotel is beautiful, the views are fantastic and the sky was clear both nights we were there which meant we could stargaze from our terrace. It was super quiet and peaceful. Right by one of the main entrances to the park, easy to find and very easy to start our hike into the park early in the morning. They have a pingpong table and board games in the dining room which were fun to play in the evenings too. We will be back!

Great cabans and rooms inside the park. Breakfast or dinner is at another hotel/hostel but close by walk and with really nice food, place and super friendly owners. We could see monkeys in front of our room early morning. Definitively to recommend

Small, family owned business. Staff is really gorgeous, the view and the location couldn’t be better and the rooms were comfortable. Also cheap.

The property was exactly as described, if not better. We got upgraded on arrival to a bigger room which was amazing. The rooms are clean and they bring you fresh towels and extra pillows if needed. The food is exceptional - I recommend the wraps! The host is exceptional- spoke English which was really helpful for us and made us feel at home. Helped us with getting to the property and with getting to our next place! Couldn’t recommend it more

Lovely guesthouse close to the El Zaino entrance of Tayrona national park, surrounded by jungle and rivers. The rooms were spacious and really well-equipped with a big windowfront and there‘s a nice restaurant/chill out-area. The hosts put a lot of love into the space, they were super kind and served delicious breakfast and food. There some walks and hikes to beaches and waterfalls.

Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge by Mareygua is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino.

Staff were extremely friendly and smiley, personal thanks to Santiago who was absolutely brilliant. We had a very heavy bag and staff took care of it despite the very many stairs. Welcome cocktail which is a nice touch. The room was very clean and the shower had hot water which is rare in the area. The views are fantastic, you will love the sunset. Dinner was good (very yummy coconut rice) and they even asked whether we wanted our red wine at room temperature (they tend to serve it cold in Colombia). Good breakfast. Close to Tayrona Park which avoids having to do a long drive. Hotel helped us organise our taxi requirements.

The Ecohotel Yachay Tayrona is located within the Tayrona National Natural Park 33 km from Santa Marta, offers a terrace and mountain views with a direct encounter with the nature.

It is beautiful and surrounded by nature, loved seeing/hearing some animals (toads, birds, foxes, monkeys). Breakfast and dinner were good. I liked the jacuzzi reservation system. The staff is lovely and very helpful. I read some people complained about the lack of hot water but with the heat in the area I quite enjoyed the temperature.

The hostel far exceeded our expections with a wonderful greeting from our host, Carmen, who was always happy, smiling and helpful. Due to the price we paid, we expected a much cheaper feeling, but everything from the facilities to the personnel was excellent. While there's no food on the premises a small restaurant very nearby has one of the best menus of the day, we've had in Colombia! The breakfast on site was per plate instead of a buffet, which meant it was freshly made.
