Everything! The bedroom and bathroom were really clean and big, we had hot water and very good pressure. The whole family were lovely, welcoming and so nice. The view from our bedroom was breathtaking. It was so peaceful (except the dogs barking at night but you cannot avoid that, no matter where you stay in San Agustin). San Agustin is a lovely place and by far, it’s where we met the friendliest people. Everyone we met was kind and helpful, it was a just the perfect stay thank you! My piece of advice for all the dogs you will meet here (and anywhere in South America): find a long and thick wood stick and always have it with you. Dogs are afraid of them and that helped us in a lot some scenarios :) Muchas gracias y hasta luego!

amazing family run business with the most beautiful views out over the Magdalena Valley. rooms were spacious and comfortable. showers were hot. breakfast was delicious. everyone very helpful in organising activities or taxis to restaurants in town. secure parking for motorcycles

I want to thank you, this was the best stay in Colombia! This stay was really great, all the staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is so beautiful, and Jose was the best! The horse tour with Jose was wonderful! And he actually became our family friend (I stayed with three kids), and helped us with many little things like shopping. Finally, he saw our bus tickets to Ecuador that we bought from a travel agency, and realized that these tickets were illegal, and he went with us to demand back the money (actually involved the police!), and arranged for us a safer journey.

Perfect! I simply loved this place! It’s a bit oustside from San Agustin village, so you will need to walk up the hill and it’s dark in the evening, or you have to take a taxi or motorbike. But the place itself is a little paradies! I was visiting in low season and had the dorm for myself. The bed was very comfortable and cosy - it was a queen size bed - in a dorm! I felt very welcome and home and extended one more night to enjoy the hammock in front of my room. Had an interesting chat with the owner and played with the cats&dogs arround. There is a kitchen but the food at the restaurant is reasonable in price and very delicious. The vegetable curry was fantastic! The little chalets looked lovely too! I would recommend and always come back!

The room we had (the ecolodge) was one of the best rooms we ever had - anywhere in the world - after 30 years of travelling. Cute, quirky, beautiful, large (it is three rooms in one, including a large living room), comfortable and super nice. And it has a terrace where you can see the humming birds come to find their flowers - really close. Great staff as well.
