Everything was great. I was very surprised to see how elegant the hotel is and the hot-tub and steam baths they have. Great and very generous breakfast. Very calm, a bit outside the hyper-centre but located at walkable distance from everything. It was very charming and comfortable. The backyard, the room itself, the entrance hall, everything is very tastefully and nicely decorated and invites you to spend a god restful time at the hotel.

Nestled down a bumpy lane in the heart of plantain and coffee farms, this oasis surrounded by calling birds offers a relaxing stay away. Daily cleaning and fresh towels , good mattresses and the homemade burgers all get top marks. The outside pool was great, along with the hammocks, sound system to play your own music, flexible meal times and a handy laundry service all providing comfort. Meals included sancocho, huevos revueltos, limonada among others. Juan Jose and Claudia went to great lengths to help us arrange transport around the area and fill all requests. The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly.

It's quite impossible to list all the things that make us stayed almost one week in Tukawa. The welcome we received on our arrival already was a foretaste of a memorable stay. All the activities and services offered in this hostel are amazing ! This was probably our best accomodation in Colombia. It's a little paradise in the beautiful countryside outside of Filandia - beautiful large garden with various birds flying around all the time (colibris, parrots, condors), stylish rooms and the best host Gloria who was super helpful with everything we needed.

All rooms are amazing, especially the cabins. Breathtaking views, connected to nature, superb service, very well kept. The hotel also offers several additional services and information about tours in the area. If your plan is to disconnect without being too far away from the town (Filandia), Monte Tierra is perfect.
