My stay at Shell B & B on Santa Catalina Island was simply enchanting, thanks to the exceptional hospitality of hosts Kenia and Manfred. The room was a haven of comfort that elevated my experience in these fantastic islands (Providencia and Santa Catalina). Kenia and Mandfred's recommendations for local dining were superb, offering a taste of the island's culinary delights. Their expertise extended to adventure planning, with scuba diving and hiking suggestions that showcased the island's natural beauty. The secluded beaches they guided me to were a perfect retreat. If you visit Providencia, I highly recommend staying at Posada Aleeny. The family that runs the place is very welcoming, making you feel like part of a big family. The location is perfect, as you can reach anywhere on the island quickly. The room I stayed in had excellent air conditioning, which was great for cooling down after a long day at the beach. The beds were the most comfortable I've experienced while traveling through Colombia. The breakfast included in the price was really nice, and I would definitely recommend it. Overall, if you have any questions or need anything, the hosts are always happy to help. My stay was incredible, and I will definitely come back one day. I can only recommend it 10/10!

The property is located 5 min drive from the beach, and a short 2 min walk to a small supermarket where you can get some groceries to cook breakfast. My wife was there with her mom and aunt and had an amazing time. Mr Lindon was extremely helpful and went the extra mile by taking them around in his car whenever a Tuk-Tuk wasn’t available. He is also well connected with people around the island and he got them a great deal to visit cayo cangrejo, and amazing crystal clear small island 15 min boat ride from Providencia. The place itself was extremely clean, spacious and surrounded by nature. Highly recommended!

We liked everything about this place. The location next to the beach, the little terrace with seaview and we enjoyed all the help from the host/family who is living next door. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Location is perfect since there is also a supermarket and some restaurants within 5min walking.

Perfect location for scuba diving holiday. Very close to dive shops and beach - short walk to both. Did our laundry for us. Very helpful that we could rent a scooter from her co-located daughter. Also helped us arrange taxi to airport and a boat tour for snorkeling. Great shared kitchen for meeting other guests. Immaculately clean.

Jasmina was really nice to us since the beginning, she first asked about our plans to support our stay the best way and helped us the whole time, we are really grateful! Beyond that, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the location is close to Isla Catalina, but it’s better to take cabs or rent a car to make the stay in Providence easier.

This property is located just 10 minutes’ walk from South West Bay Beach and features an extensive, beautiful garden.

This charming posada on a small island offers a relaxed getaway with plenty of character. Conveniently located just a 7-minute taxi ride from the airport—and even more affordable by tuk tuk—it provides a warm welcome from the moment you arrive. The rooms are cozy, equipped with a fridge, efficient air conditioning, and, although the Wi-Fi can be a bit unpredictable, the views from the room more than make up for it. Keep in mind that, like many places on the island, there is no running hot water. Breakfast is simple yet enjoyable, and you’ll appreciate the water dispenser on-site. The friendly staff, along with the welcoming local community, add to the overall laid-back vibe of the island. Even though the posada isn’t beachfront, the beach isn’t far off at all. You can easily rent a scooter, grab a taxi, or opt for the cheaper tuk tuk to explore the island, with South West beach being a personal favorite. Overall, I would definitely recommend this delightful spot for anyone looking to experience a chill and authentic island escape.
