Winston (manager) was very helpful with arranging transportation from the airport to the hotel. Walter (the driver)was awesome and highly recommended. Winston was very personal and very approachable. My wife and I would certainly recommend Casa 69 to anyone going to San Jose.

Brisas del Aeropuerto is a wonderful small hotel. It is clean and comfortable, has really friendly staff, good food to order, and is located in a safe location 15 Minutes from the airport.

We stayed at Airport Green Studio for our last night in Costa Rica. It was the perfect location since we could safely park the car, fill it up on the gas station right next to the Studio and return it to the nearly located rent company. The Hosting family is exceptionally nice! The breakfast is probably the best, we had on our whole journey! We would definitely come again.

The staff is super friendly! Kevin attended all my requests and helped me. The apartment had a very good size and it was very clean. I was worried about mosquitos but there were none. It was really comfortable. It’s close to the airport, you just need to get one of the red taxis at the airport and it will be $5-8 only.

Close to the airport and a mall this nice and cozy apartment is perfect to begin the journey, either for a single traveler as me or a family. Easy to reach, in a very QUITE area, a variety of chilling areas in the huge living room, very clean, sockets every where, comfortable bed, and, last but not least, super positive vibe from the host with an excellent customer service and attention to details. What else can you wish for? Sure I'll go there again. It was a pleasure to stay. VERY RECOMMENDED

Just coming back to give another review following our second stay at Casa Cafetal following our arrival at SJO and having stayed for two further nights at the end of our trip in Costa Rica. Everything was perfect as before. We had a rental car on our final day and were able to easily park into the gated parking space provided. We used the washing machine/dryer to wash our clothes - maybe some basic instructions to start might help - but it was quite straightforward after working out how to use it. All the cooking facilities were great and it's very convenient to get some groceries at Fresh Market over the road from the house. Once again, the host Manuel was excellent. Make sure to ask him for some tips on local customs, driving and places to visit before your trip as it is so helpful!

The staff is amazing. They picked us up at the airport and dropped us off the next day at our car rental company. They prepared a lovely Costa Rican dinner for us at arrival and a breakfast the next morning. The private double room is not luxurious (it’s a hostel after all…) but it has all you need. Would definitely recommend this if you need to spend a night close to the airport.

Edward was a lovely host, extremely helpful and always responded quickly to messages. He was so helpful and friendly. He arranged our transfers to and from the airport, which is only a few minutes car ride. The property was very clean and equipped with everything that you would need (air con, microwave, kettle, fridge/freezer). The beds were comfy and facilities were brilliant. We wished we could have stayed longer.
