There are two swimming pools, the warmer of which is ideal for children. I must commend the hotel staff who restored my faith in humanity. I forgot a few clothes in my closet during check out which I didn't discover until two days later. Be prepared for a unique experience…the shower had ornate ceiling with plants growing inside and up above. Breakfast was served “family style” and the owner/chef engaged with his guests. Perfect stop on our journey from La Fortuna to Monteverde to take in an evening looking over Lake Arenal. Had dinner in the restaurant too which was generous and delicious. Breakfast was lovely too. Infinity view showed off the great location and view over the lake. Staff super friendly and nice.
