I have never been to a hotel before where the owner does a quick haircut and mends your bag on your first day. Thank you for looking after my husband when he felt frail. I love the room, the chairs. The forest location. That there was no artificial lighting in front of our room late at night ...the dark was a joy and seeing the sunrise through the trees The home cooking, the coffee the little seawater pool, the wild beach. The caring environment, lovely staff. The howler,the macaws , the things that went bump on our roof! Its a little different. The Golfe Dulce is away from the tourist trail and is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen

Wow, hidden gem. We had villa #8 which had a stunning view of jungle and even the gulf in the distance. Villa was clean and modern and the club house is fantastic (games, infinity pool, plus great staff, service and food!) The caretaker Richie is such a nice guy and has great tips for places to visit. Be prepared this is jungle, which we loved, but that also means if you leave the exterior lights on in evening you'll see spiders the size of your palm and hundreds of bugs! You can probably get to property with any car but once inside a 4x4 is helpful because the hills are insane.

The apartment was really nice, everything is very new and clean, kitchen has everything you need and there’s even a laundry room! The host is so nice, he let us park our car at his moms house across the street, welcomed us with a bottle of wine and when we left for our overnight trip to the Corcovado national park, he let us store our luggage for free! Thanks for this amazing experience :)
