The lodge is secluded and peaceful in the rainforest above the lake with beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The Ceiba Tree itself is spectacular. Breakfast was delicious every day, premium coffee and fresh, home-cooked food. We also reserved a three course dinner with wine one night and it was absolutely delicious. Room was cute and comfortable and there was a wonderful covered patio. Can't say enough about how lovely our stay was. We definitely plan to return in the future.Guest review byAlexiaYoung couple

The breakfast is yummy and different every day, prepared with much love to detail. The lady of the house bakes her own bread and the way the owner prepares the coffee in the morning is very meditative and reflects the love he puts in his work. One can feel that the guests happiness is very important for this family with two lovely sons. The owner is a guide who knows Costa Rica and can give valuable tips of places to visit.
