Great location to explore the best of Santo Antao island and very close to everything you need in the town itself. Staff was great and attentive to all our needs (transportation, laundry, renting poles, finding guides, leaving luggage...). Room was clean and our stay was quiet.

It is a very good place, if you look for an authentic village. It is managed by the local women association, and it is managed well. All is clean and well-kept. Good local food. The village is very quiet. The view is spectacular and the sunsets are idyllic. The village nightlife concentrates around a shop run by Antonio and it is a good place to meet the villagers. The breakfast was amazing!! So generous and good! The staff are so lovely and the rooms are beautiful!

Great location in this cute town - next to some nice places to eat and with views of the mountains and coast. Also in a good location to do the hike to Fontanillas. Rooms were very clean and comfortable and the area is quiet at night - with the window open you can hear the sea. Also, a lovely breakfast.
