This is an exceptional place to stay - a large estate with a tree-lined drive, leading to a group of modern buildings surrounded by fenced areas with deer, rabbits, chickens, ponds, little woods & a couple of playgrounds. Everything is thought out, well designed, quality materials, clean & well organized. The staff are motivated & efficient. The onsite restaurant has a wonderful breakfast buffet, with a big choice. What I found remarkable is, although they are popular & busy, also with outside guests, the buffet area is kept clean & tidy. In the evening there's an equally wonderful dinner buffet. The restaurant has a separate area for families, built around a little castle with a slide. The Therme (superb) is a short drive away, and - insider tip - buy your tickets at the hotel. We enjoyed our stay.

Firstly, it's a rather unconventional apartment, but at the same time very pleasant & convenient in a quiet, residential area. Plus everything was clean, tidy & nicely prepared for us, with good communication. It's 'unconventional' because the entrance is at street level, although some 10m back from the roadside, and the apartment runs through to the bedrooms at the back, with a relatively large glass pyramid (to the sky) in the living room ceiling - parts of it can opened with a switch on the wall. The entrance area has a shoe/coat space plus WC/shower, leading to a spacious living room with sofa, TV, kitchen & dining table then further to the two bedrooms at the back, which are very peaceful and have large windows to a garden area surrounded by other apartments. It makes a nice impression & was comfortable for our group of 5 (two young children). The kitchen has a fridge, cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher - all you need. Some of the furniture is a bit lightweight, but the beds & sofa bed were very good, with nice pillows & covers/duvets. The apartment is easy walking distance to the town centre, which has a variety of small shops, a castle & a very nice park, a bit hidden away on the north side of the town. A REWE supermarket & the railway station are also nearby. Must visit: the town has a lovely Therme, a hot spring bath, with a very large pool area covered by a huge dome, which opens, and an outside pool with a garden area. We enjoyed our stay.

It a spacious light fresh apartment. Very nice furniture, balcony even and on a quiet street. The owner has a restaurant in the same building, unfortunatly we didnt have time to try the food when we only stayed one night, just passing through to our next destination. But would have loved to stay longer.

The hosts made us feel very welcome, allowing us in early, after we had been riding our bikes for many hours, in the rain. They turned the heater on for us, brought us down a clothes horse (dryer) & offered to go and buy us a pizza for tea :) The accommodation had lots of nice little touches like the art deco fridge, pretty flowers on the windowsill & generally nice décor. We were also able to store our bikes safely in the garage.
