We had the superior apartment with all the facilities that we needed. We liked the terrace a lot to the apartment enjoying the evening sun. Bed is super comfortable and they also provided crib for our baby. Walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bridge as well. Communication was smooth with the owner. Free parking onsite. We felt like were welcomed into the host’s home. All our needs were taken care of—and we traveled with a whole family with 2 kids (1 and 4 years old) and a senior citizen, so that’s saying a lot. Cot was provided. Kitchen was small but functional. The apartment had been recently renovated and everything was new, clean and thoughtfully put together. The location is very good. You are across from the river, and short walk into town. About 20 mins walk to castle. The host was really nice, communication was excellent. The personnel was incredibly friendly and helpful, from the receptionist to the cleaning ladies. This is a family friendly hotel, with a great breakfast and private parking, just a few minutes walk from the city. The wine selection at the honesty bar was excellent. The rooms were spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The host Jacqueline was brilliant. She spoke excellent English, she looked after us wonderfully. She even found toys for the children to play with. The property is only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Cochem.
