Sparkling/spotless clean is an adjective I rarely use but this place is it! - Traditional family hotel but renovated inside and really clean - Kind staff, though traditional (paper map, etc.) - Beautiful breakfast, with lots of attention to details - Fun neighbourhood with a variety of restaurants - Amazing value for money in Frankfurt, event during the event season

We like the location. Very closed to everything and it's safe surroundings. I like the mini bar they have in the lobby. As a parent, it is very handy to have adult conversation while kids are in the rooms safe. The staff are very friendly. Shout out to darmein not sure of his name. The breakfast is delicious too. The waffle is the highlight for my kids. This hotel is family-friendly that's why we love it as our family first experience holidays in frankfurt..

The staff was extraordinarily kind and helpful, the rooms were attractive, clean and very comfortable. The lobby was inviting and included a corner for young kids with toys. The hotel is very family friendly. Unfortunately, we didn`t have time to have breakfast but the buffet looked very good. We will return again when we have an early morning flight to the USA the next day. Great value!

The atmosphere is good. There was kids space that my child love spending time there. Very close to supermarket. Room is spacious, well organised kitchen area, good enough for family. Smart TV is good, also wifi. Train station to Frankfurt or Mainz is only few minutes walk. Close to airport, good for those who don't want to bring their luggages to stay in the city. Free shuttle bus from the airport and only cost 6€ for 2 adults on the way back to the airport.

The hotel Royal is a hidden gem. It is small but, spotlessly clean, comfortable and within a very short walk of restaurants (one next door) bars (3 in the road) and a short walk to the buzzing bar area with sports bars 2 Irish bars and music bars. It is close to the River and about 10 minutes' walk to the old town. It is probably best for groups, couples or singles rather than families. But as it is clean and quiet family will enjoy it as well. Buffet breakfast is served, and the Owner is friendly, funny and welcoming.
