The location by the lake is beautiful and I'm quite sure I'll spend some more days there soon. The town "Himmelpfort" is fun because the post office is the "official" address of Germany's Santa; the main attraction are the four or five lakes around town. Nearby Furstenberg is easy to reach (3 miles or so) and has some good and cheap grocery stores. All in all a positive experience.

This property is a beautifully renovated old brewery/farm building. It's absolutely lovely! There are no restaurants nearby (for cyclists) but they do have pizza and an oven to cook it in. Breakfast was excellent. Great storage for our bikes, too. Definitely recommend!

The apartments were exceptionally well equipped and immaculately clean. The location was wonderfully peaceful and just a short walk to the lake. The hosts were so helpful and we enjoyed the garden so much with our kids. We were without our own transport but the hosts were happy to provide a shuttle both to and from the accommodation from Fürstenberg. We enjoyed the breakfast at the weekend which provided a delicious array of goodies. The artistic surroundings at the property were a delight to be amongst. Absolutely delightful stay.

The owner is a gem . I left my phone charger im my accommodation he quickly provided with a USB charger which he let me keep. An absolute lifesaver and so pleasant !

We came by bike, some rooms have a sort of bike garage attached which was amazing for us. The room is spacious (we got one with 2 single beds, so if you mind that good to clarify it when booking). The cafe next door is ok for breakfast und there are a few restaurants around.

A small, quiet camping park on the edge of a lake. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The facilities were very clean and well kept. We rented a kayak for a day and had a peaceful slow paddle down the nearby river. The tiny house was in my opinion on the expensive side, but cosy and comfortable.
