Everything was exceptional! Staff was lovely, rooms are big and clean, the town of Lottstetten in cute and quiet, perfect if you want to get away from the bustling city. Parking was easy and breakfast room was cozy and the food was great. The train station is 10 minutes walking distance and has connections to Zürich (about 40 min) or Rheinfalls (two stops, about 8min), where you get a gorgeous panoramic view of the Rhine Falls, Europe's most powerful waterfall.

Owners met us at Jestetten bahnhof, and drove us to the apartment. Communication before arriving was excellent (thanks to Google translate), and they were so helpful, on arrival going above and beyond, they even gave us a lift back to Schaffhausen when we left. Their English was about as good as my German (not great} but we made ourselves understood, and its a testament, to their hospitality, that they were able to be so helpful . It is a little bit away from the nearest train station. but we knew this and enjoy walking, and even the walk home at night was enjoyable, but there was handy parking if you needed it,. No AC. and it was mid thirties, when we were there {during the summer heatwave) but the shutters during the day and windows at night kept it really comfortable. facilities were great and it was really excellent value for money. we loved the local walks and we will be returning (hopefully)
