I often stay at the Tide when in Friesland. Why? Well, I booked a room there once because I knew that I would arrive during the wee hours of the morning... after dropping my sailplane off for servicing at M&D Flugzeugbau in nearby Friedeburg. The Tide has a 24/24 concierge. Since, I usually book at the Tide where rooms are available. Oh! And the breakfast is fab!!!

Extremely tasty breakfast, we especially liked the fresh ripe fruit. Very friendly staff at the reception, quick check in. Exceptional cleanliness of the premises and, of course, the pool, not big, but also clean and warm.
