United KingdomThis place is so special. Oscar and his mum looked after us so so well - cooking us amazing trout dinner when we arrived late. So delicious we ate with them the second night, too. Oscar helped us decide what to do with our spare day with great suggestions. The lodge itself is wonderfully cozy with a fire.
We had a hire car so made getting there very easy but the buses pass right next to it so that is possible too.

LatviaWow, what a hidden pearl. The history of this place is worth the visit alone. Besides Nicolas who makes all guests feel welcome and is a genius chef at the same time, the place has beautiful spacious rooms, an incredible surrounding and instagrammers will get very stressed to manage all during a stay. mix that with everything from horse riding, night walk, wine and cheese and/or beer tasting, a fantastic menu, jacuzzi in a cave, views and a heaven for kids. so much to say. it’s an experience driving in, take it as such, because what awaits you is fantastic

The owner, Rosario, and the rest of the staff were very welcoming from the moment we were picked up from the airport until we departed the lodge. The lodge has multiple areas to relax in and has a varied menu available for lunch and dinner. The breakfasts were lovely and different each day. The spa is also right around the corner. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were clean and well laid out. My shower was delightful - great water pressure and so lovely to shower within a stained glass wall! The dining area was a pleasure to sit in and enjoy yourself. There is a hotel inside the resort, but it’s very expensive. Mamallacta is a wonderful alternative as it is located just a few minutes walk from the entrance to the resort and is a great deal more affordable. Additionally we found Mamallacta Lodge to be comfortable and clean. The food was good, and the quality of service offered by the staff was exceptional.Guest review byMatthewFamily with young children
