Everything was amazing! Apart from being a beautiful historic building with loads of spaces to chill and chat or spend time alone, place to work, comfortable beds, great breakfast…all of the amazing facilities… apart from that, the owners are a beautiful family who greet and treat everyone like friends and family. You feel so at home and the owners will do everything to make your stay comfortable, from ordering taxis to giving tourist advice and local restaurant recommendations. Mostly, just the warm smile you’re met with every day makes the difference! <3 10/10 recommend staying here. The highlight might be the super spacious and comfortable beds. They feel like luxury at a backpacker price!

Excellent attention! We had a medical situation with the altitude and the hotel stuff immediately called an ambulance that helped us a lot as part of their included services. Food, cleanliness, and friendliness was top and we will definitely be coming back if we have the chance.

The best is that you feel here like home, such welcoming owners you can barely met somewhere else. Very nice and kind people, Irma and her family. I felt really good there, thank you so much ;-)

We loved our stay at Casa Marmol! We initially booked 2 days but stayed 4. The family was lovely and took great care of us. Irma always had a smile and offered many suggestions for activities in Riobamba. I celebrated my birthday there and she made it extra special by baking me a cake! . You can really feel at home at Casa Marmol!

Property was in a great location really close to the centre but with enough distance for a peaceful nights sleep. Beds were super comfortable and allowed for a wonderful nights sleep. Irma and staff were some of the most friendliest people I have come across since travelling. She really makes you feel like family, was always super helpful and willing to help you with whatever she can. Irma has wonderful knowledge of the area and also knows tour guides for the things she can’t help with.

What can I say.... It was an amazing stay with nice guests and very courteous hosts. It felt like home with comfortable beds (large and comfi) and the hosts are looking for everything to be clean and they help you with ever question about tours, busses etc. The hosts are giving you a feeling of beeing a part of a family. Btw cleanest kitchen I used in a hostel in 3 months!

Warm hospitality from Irma and Diego – you are welcomed into a family home. Irma can supply bags of information, and provides a vast breakfast. The beed is super warm and comfortable and the bathroom (as the house name suggests) is actually made of marble!!

I arrived in Riobamba late. Later than the check in time. However, they were nice enough to leave me a key box and detailed instructions on how to get in. The hostel is super clean and pretty (especially for how affordable it is). I really love how spacious the room is (I stayed in a 5-bed dorm). In the morning, they helped me plan my trip to Chimborazo and called a taxi. I would've missed the morning bus to Chimborazo without their help. I would highly recommend Villa Bonita to anyone traveling here. Thank you!

Comunidad la Moya as the name says, is a local community composed by few families. They are all very friendly and available. We also did a local trekking with a local woman who told us about their culture and traditions. There is also a local market where you can buy some handmade stuff and a museum that describes their history up to the present.
