Saied and his family and friend really went out of their way to make our stay in Aswan easier! The place is very peaceful with great view on the lake!

Amazing experience staying one night in Wanas Kato. After our cruise arriving to Aswan we decided to stay one more night and it was a fantastic decision, staff is friendly, rooms as expected and comfortable and the BEST VIEW of the sunset from all Aswan. They also offered us a delicious dinner. Run be a Nubian family who all they want to make your stay enjoyable. I would recommend this place to everyone visiting Aswan.

Amazing place and great hosts! Aya was great at communication and organized our trips to Abu Simbel and so on.. They even upgraded our room to Nile view and were always happy to help with a smiling face! Tamer was so kind and friendly and went out of way to help us. We are a family of 4 and all vegetarians, The food at the restaurant was simply amazing! We ended up staying 1 extra night! Cannot recommend enough!

Excellent design, excellent location, the whole family is very enthusiastic, the dinner and breakfast cooked by the old mother are very delicious, just like returning to my home. Aswan and this hotel are very suitable for vacation and relaxation. If there is more time to stay, it will be more perfect. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Seyid and his family were the most polite hosts ever. He treats you like family. He organised everything we were asking for for excellent price. Not trying to trick you or anything. The first night he invited us even for dinner. Everything is well prepared with a lot of love and you feel it. It's located in a very quiet area next to the Nile and it feels like a picture when you look outside. Price/value is outstanding.

This was the most awesome place to wake up, overlooking the marina. Such a beautiful place to relax. Sied and his family are just beautiful, hospitable, friendly people who went out of their way to make my stay amazing. The boat is moored nearby for a private tour to the Temple of Philae and Sied also can arrange any other tour idea you may have. The food is amazing thanks to Sied's beautiful mum. I will definitely return

I had a very pleasant time at Wanas Gato! The place is gorgeous with house being decorated by beautiful Nubian style patterns and overseeing ships in the Nile. I spent hours just watching the beautiful Nile. Since the house is right next to the Nile and has direct access to it, the view is magical. The place is also very clean and breakfast was both fulfilling and very delicious. Finally, I cannot find enough of good words for the hosts and their hospitality, I felt like visiting relatives and was cared for like a family member.

Love love this place!!! I would go to Aswan just to stay at this place. Coffee, tea, hibiscus 🌺 were all complimentary. The food was excellent and very affordable. The room had the absolute best view of the Nile. We were treated like family.
