Arrived very late following a medical emergency but the owners were brilliant and very helpful. Really lovely apartment in a beautiful house. Really nice space with great kitchen facilities, lovely beds (a double and a double sofa bed for our children), great bathroom with shower. Vallclara is a beautiful village in the Prades mountains near to some amazing driving, cycling and walking routes. Some incredible views in the local area. Montblanc is nearby, a beautiful walled medieval town, Poblet (incredible monastery) just a few kilometres away and the village of Vallclara is on the Ruta del Cister with many churches and monasteries to explore. Prades is 18 minutes away and has beautiful church, old square full of great cafes and restaurants. Vallclara is a small village but beautifully preserved and with a bakery and cafe/restaurant. Really great area to explore. Less than an hour from home for us (Tarragona).

A lovely apartment in a lovely location. The host really cared about us and gave us some recommendations. She also had prepared quite some information about what to do in the area. The monastery is magic.

The location is in the hills with great views, surrounded by vinyards and ample opportunity to stretch your legs after a long drive. The place itself if spectacular and exceeded my expectations. The lady working the front desk was very nice and forthcoming. The room was large and well layed out. A small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities are always a mcuh appreciated add-on. The bathroom was well equipped and I even had a small balcony. The food served was a disappointment. There would have been out-door dining but I was not allowed to eat outside .... no reason given.

I have had a fantastic time living here! Everything is great here. The room is very comfortable and warm with a beautiful view from the window. The owner gave us a bottle of excellent wine from his own vineyard, which we drank on the huge veranda. By the way, this wine costs 8 euros. And we bought a few bottles to take home. We really liked that the price includes a tour of the castle. The tour was very interesting. We saw how a family from high Spanish society lived and lives now. We want to come back here again.

It was really clean and tidy, the owners were very helpful and friendly and we had a great stay! We got a really good breakfast and the bed (we slept in the double bed) was very comfortable. It was a bit windy, but since we don't mind those noises it didn't bother us. Best place for watching a sunset and stargazing at night! Overall, 10 out of 10.
