Casa Iaia is one of the best place that I have live in. Home owner name this place Casa Iaia (means grandma) cause it was his grandma’s home built in the 1940-50’s. He is very caring, check in before we arrive, gave us instructions on how to get there, check us in when we arrive at 9pm. There was one morning we woke up in the mist, a-bit disappointed with the weather. He texted us not to worry with the weather as it is just low mist, the weather is great at the peak of Montserrat. We did what he suggested and we were rewarded with a sea of clouds right below us. He made one of the best day of our trip. All I can say is he is really a friendly, great host. He cares for us so much that we felt home away from home. Thank you Pere!

Hotel Masia Can Farres was beyond beautiful. When we arrived we were in shock at the scenery of which it is located and how carefully designed every detail is inside and outside this hotel. The room itself was spacious, bright and airy. Comfortable beds. Nice TV. Lovely linens. The bathtub for soaking is amazing paired with Rituals toiletries make it just divine!! All the staff we encountered were lovely and recommended restaurants etc nearby. My toddler loved the chickens outside! Breakfast was fresh and tasty. Feel very lucky we got to stay here during our trip and there wasn't a wedding on but what a stunning venue for a wedding it would be. Highly recommended and I hope someday to return.

The house was great; more than big enough for all of us and the owner, despite not speaking English, was quite helpful, thanks to Google translate. He answered all our questions and provided the additional info we were looking for - directing us to local shops, petrol stations, etc. Making the washing machine available was a bonus as this is only normally available for lets of 3 days or more. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the facilities in general were very good.

    The location was perfect for visiting Monserrat. We took the funicular up and walked down with splendid views. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. The accomadation was a modernised home that retained the charm of its past. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking while the small town had a number of restaurants to choose from. The bed was very comfortable.

    Pere is by far the best host I have ever encountered on booking.com. He was quick to answer any questions over text and was informative and helpful throughout the stay. He really cared that we enjoyed the house and the stay in the town. The house was well stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable and my family really enjoyed our brief stay here.

    Great communication both before and during our stay. The apartment itself is situated in a little town just off Montserrat, a perfect base from which to explore the monastery and mountains. It is spacious and comfortable enough for a family of up to five, with living, dining rooms and a kitchen, all well kept with nice retro touches, all carefully preserved by the family. A little restaurant a short walk away is also a nice option for meals.
