My friend and I were walking on the Camino dos Faros. This was just a little off our path and is was perfect. We felt like this was (and is) absolute luxury after several days walking and staying in basic accommodations. Maria was lovely and she arranged to drop off breakfast for us so we could get an early start. The problem was, we didn't want to leave. The bed was so comfortable, we slept really well. The tub was an added bonus to soak our sore muscles. Everything about it was perfect. The only thing that would have made it better was if someone cooked our dinner for us.

This hidden gem took us by storm! We were put up in our own little "cabin" (old stable actually). Really spacious and so comfortable. All newly renovated and very well kept. The food is worth praising - Fresh local produce and love for food in a heavenly combination! Perfect wine pairings and immaculate service. The owner couple truly made us feel at home far away from home. Not only that, 5-10 min drive to deserted white beaches with dramatic waves and blue sea!!!

The house was 100% like the pictures. Fabulous! Lovely outdoor seating areas, barbecue - loved everything about it. It was extremely clean and there was some water and a couple of beers in the fridge upon arrival as well as biscuits/coffee/tea and sweets. Even ice cold beerglasses in the freezer! We would like to go back.
