Everything! It was very spacious, clean, warm, quiet, and lovely. About 20 min drive from the airport, which was perfect because we got the chance to see the beautiful landscape. Lots of parking spaces and shops nearby. It also has a pool table near the bar to spend the time. We loved it here.

Very good value for money, quiet location, comfy bed, pleasant living room. House is close to the main river and there is a reindeer farm nearby. The host speaks English; friendly guy. Warmly recommend.

This place is amazing, perfect and wonderful, the best place to stay! We spent 3 nights there and I can say just good! Hoise is perfect, atmosphere, fireplace, sauna, rooms clean and warm, can regulate temperature in each room, in the kitchen are everything what need. The owner is kind, polite, and helpful. These were one of the best 4 days/3 nights in my life. I hope one day I can come back to this dream house from Winter Wonderland!

Beautiful location and friendly staff to welcome us on site. Very comfortable room and great to get pre booked arranged tours from the hotel directly. You do need a rental car when staying as 20 mins from city.

Had the loveliest time. We were three friends in the room, the extra sofabed was fine. We had a sauna in our room! So much fun! And the shower was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. We especially loved the elderflower-cloudberry fizzy drink, which we could t find anywhere else sadly. Hotel staff was very helpful.

Everything was very good. The communication with the host was excellent, she also provided us with the transfer from the airport. Very clean rooms, all amenities available. The property is located 5 minutes from the bus stop that leads to Santa's village and the airport.

    We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The location out of town provided a quiet nature surrounding, but required transportation into town and back. I recommend that you book all activities from the hotel, which will save you lots of travel. The hotel feels very homey and intimate. The staff are very warm and helpful, and feel almost like family. Buffet breakfast was varied, though it was the same every day. I recommend the Metsahirvas especially for couples looking for a quiet homey place

    A great functional hotel - just out of the city so you have some space around you. The rooms were really clean and super comfortable beds. The family rooms are a great size and it’s lovely to have a Kitchenette. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We loved that it was out of the city and that Pure Lapland run their excursions from there. We also really enjoyed the sauna and ice dip activity. When we had to leave early the next day they prepared an amazing breakfast for us to take away without us even asking! A lovely touch.

    Very nice location, close to Rovaniemi, outside the city. Ideal to stay with children. Fire in the hall and closeness to the River with views and nature was perfect for our stay. You can make fire at a wooden refuge 100m from the hotel close to the river. Kids enjoyed the Skimobile ride! Very recommendable. Sauna available for guests (kids allowed) is a must do. Thank you Mikko for your kind hospitality. We will be back!
