The hostess was very friendly and helpful. This is the first chateau that I have stayed in and it did not disappoint. It is a genuine old castle with lots of original features. An excellent meal was provided in the evening on the terrace and the breakfast in the morning was also good. I was cycling and I had no concerns about the safety of my bicycle within the castle walls. Airvault is a lovely town and just a few minutes walk away.

    The high quality of accommodation, the local recommendations, the welcoming of the host and ability to accomodate, the gym facilities, the games for our kid, the quality of the outdoors, the quiet spots, the atmosphere in the room with local photographs, the lovely attentions being with toileteries or sweets, the homemade products being served and understanding of our taste. The friendly chats with Danielle and John and all the cuddles from their lovely cat!

    This cosy duplex in the very centre of Airvault is very comfortable. It was clearly oversized for me, but would be ideal for a small self-catering family.

    La Jariette is a beautiful property in a peaceful setting. We stayed in the smaller gite with separate access to bathroom and kitchen and this was no problem at all. Lovely garden space outside the gite to enjoy an evening meal or breakfast and right next to the pool which kept the kids happy (as well as the table tennis). Cute little village of Airvault is nearby.
