What an extraordinary delight it was to spend a night at this unique BnB in Rott, which effortlessly marries its rich history as a wartime bunker with modern-day amenities, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. This impressive edifice is nestled amidst splendid scenery, offering a tranquil haven that encapsulates the essence of nature’s best. One of the most noteworthy aspects of our stay was the ample outdoor space available for our leisurely use. This expanse extended our living quarters into the serene outdoors, allowing us to bask in the picturesque surroundings while enjoying our morning coffee or evening wine. The private car parking, conveniently located right next to the bunker, added to the ease of our stay. The exclusive access to the bunker augmented our experience, providing an added layer of privacy which we thoroughly appreciated. Our hosts were incredibly warm and inviting, surpassing any level of hospitality we’ve previously encountered. They exhibited a genuine eagerness to accommodate our needs, which greatly enriched our stay. The location of this BnB was the cherry on top. Positioned perfectly for our journey towards the Alps, we couldn’t have chosen a better retreat for our sojourn. All in all, our overnight stay at this extraordinary BnB was a remarkable experience that beautifully blended a sense of history, comfort, scenery, and unparalleled hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend it to any traveler seeking a unique and unforgettable stay.

This place is truly magical. Be prepared to travel back in time as you duck your head and ascend via a beautifully preserved ancient wooden staircase to your abode amongst the roofs of Wissembourg. As you arrive, you are welcomed into a fantastic, light-suffused, open two-tier converted attic that effortlessly combines sleek modernity with historical authenticity. I would have never thought floorboards could be so evocative but the time -weathered undulating planks of this apartment tell their own story. Here, you can sense the true spirit of the place, a rare and precious experience that I imagine every traveller seeks. I would highly recommend a visit and can't wait for our second stay.
