The property was gated and secure, with the friendly host and family close by if needed. The property was well situated, close to Beziers and beaches. The gite was in excellent condition, clean and well equipped.

The spacious flat is in a beautiful 19th century building and the hosts have renovated and furnished it in style and with a lot of attention to detail. Everything you need is there, the view out of the windows is amazing and the village is so quiet, all you hear are the bells from the church. The garden area is welcoming and spotless, great to sit there in the shade and the pool is a dream. So nice to relax there while looking out to the vineyards and watch the sunset, you even swim with a view. The hosts are very friendly and helpful in any way and easy to communicate with. The area is perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday even in the summer season when the coast is so busy. Easy enough to get to the beach or a swim in the river Orb or a hike in the mountains in the north or a visit in beautiful historic Pézenas or any of the pretty surrounding villages. We also enjoyed the Féria in Béziers. If we come back to this area, we'd definitely stay there again.

The host, Jane, met us at the house and was very welcoming and helpful. Good literature about the area in the house. The facilities, especially for cooking at home, were very good, full size cooker and oven, large fridge, etc. The house was wonderfully designed, comfortable and delightfully decorated. Everything we needed was provided and very clean. There were ‘essential foods’ in the cupboards for guests arriving late or when the local shops were not open. Jane checked that we had everything we needed and checked all was well whilst we were there, we actually stayed for 8 nights - not one night!
