The small house is located in quiet countryside whereas quite closed to the highway entrance/exit. The surrounding is dog friendly. The hostness is very kind and hostpitable. She provided a bag of bread, some dessert, a small bottle of milk, a bottle of water and a bottle of wine upfront for the guest. The house is clean and decoreded in Christmas atmosphere.

Nice house with 3 bedrooms (1 double bed and 4 singles beds). New and modern with all the needful for a cozy stay. Easy to park in the garage or outside. You can even enjoy eating outside in the garden without direct view from neighbors. There are a bakery, a butcher and a mini market store at walking distance for convenience. Short enough distance drive to Rennes and its market, the Mt St Michel, St Malo and other places. The owners are very welcoming and helpful.

    We enjoyed our days in the apartment, it was great having a fully functional kitchen, the coffee machine with coffee pods we appreciated. The use of the washing machine was a plus. Parking outside the door was really good, also the location was great to explore Fougeres and the medieval fortress.

    This was an excellent find. the house is a very old historic building from 1790. The rooms were lovely with an amazing view over the castle and town. breakfast was fantastic. We arrived on Bastille Day so even had the pleasure of watching the fireworks from the room with the kids.

    Everything was perfect. Fougeres is a lovely town and worth a detour for tourists. We came to the town after spending a week with our grandchildren and needed something better than a hotel room to relax and recover ! This was a perfect place, plenty of space and facilities were brilliant. Very stylish.

    Everything. It was the most stylish, comfortable, interesting and charming place we've ever stayed in. The views over the castle were amazing. The beds super-comfy. Lucille was the perfect host and her breakfast was devine. Not having parking was not a problem. There are so many places to park on road nearby and the neighborhood is super-safe, friendly and quiet. Fougeres is a beautiful town that is well suited for families and couples alike and this hotel is the best we've ever stayed in.

    The best location to strolling around old town and very close to the bus stop to/from Rennes. Sufficiently spacious room for a family of four and there were both shower and bathtub. Reception staff was very kind.
