Very friendly and accommodating host and great location with lots of farm animals nearby ! It is very quiet even though it is nearby a main road that get you access to all shopping amenities within 8 minutes in both directions! We had our dog with us so it was very convenient that we could just go on long walks once we stepped outside.

So glad I found this apartment, I stayed a lot longer than planned and visited the east and west coast from here! I was travelling alone initially and felt very safe and comfortable in the apartment and in the lovely town of Valonges! Parking was easy and charging my Electric Car was easy at the local LIDL. Good choice of supermarkets very close also. My partner joined me and we ended up extending our booking as the location was great for day trips and we didn't want to risk moving on to somewhere that might be less comfortable! Internet was reliable for working. Julien was accessible and patient with our questions. Thank you! I would love to return and would definitely stay here again!!

This was the perfect spot. The owner himself greeted me, explained the apartment layout and handed me the keys. I liked the parking space and the fact that the gate had a remote lock. Felt very 007 esque!!!!! The apartment was huge; a sitting room cum diner, small kitchen, perfect back yard with table and chairs. Bathroom with shower, excellent water pressure. Toilet in the hall. Upstairs, two bedrooms. The property is down a small road and it's so quiet and only about 5km to the nearest big town Valognes. If you would like a nice repas du midi, go to E leClerc in Valognes. The staff there was so helpful. Je vous remercie infiniment de votre accueil et j'ai passe un tres bon sejour chez vous.

Marie and Philippe are perfect hosts. They were friendly and very welcoming. The room (the Marco Polo suite) was excellent and very clean and well decorated. and appointed. The bedroom and bathroom were excellent and the sitting room was comfortable and very useful to have. The location, just 30 minutes from Cherbourg was excellent for us but I think the Maison de la Hulotte would be an excellent base for seeing the Cotentin peninsula. The breakfast was superb with homemade and local ingredients, including figs from the garden.
