I am cycling with a friend. We had a secure area to leave our bikes, and Virginia very kindly allowed us an early check-in as we needed to catch a bus to Mont St Michel at 1400hrs. Very well-equipped and clean apartment.

We booked seven different places of accomadation for our road trip around Normandy in July 2024 and we would both agree that Chateau de Chambres topped them all. They have done amazing renovations to their chateau and have left nothing to their customers imaginations. Maria & Martin gave us an exceptional Irish/French welcome and the breakfast was truly amazing. They were both full of knowledge of the local area and provided us with useful tips of local places to visit, which was extremely helpful. We were very sorry we had only booked one night in this beautiful chateau and we would highly recommend it to our friends and families.

The house was clean and comfortable. It is in a quiet area, surrounded by a garden. The hostess was very kind and the she prepared the breakfast by herself. We had an unexpected delay and we were a bit late for check in but she welcomed us and also recommended restaurants in order to eat. I would definitely stay at this accommodation again!!

Saint-James is a very small town and is almost like being in the country. It takes less than 30 minutes to drive to Mont Saint-Michel from Saint-James. The apartment was very large with a full kitchen. It was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Gianluca was a fantastic host - so friendly and engaging, we felt like we'd known him for many years!
