A very warm welcome along with the lovely, spotless, bright and spacious room and en suite and the beautiful garden made Les Bruyeres a great place to stay and we would happily recommend it. The location was ideal for us with its proximity to Montbron but it is also ideally placed for exploring more of Charente and the close by Dordogne.

Chris and Trace were the perfect hosts. A warm welcome on arrival, happy to assist with anything (they arranged taxis for me which was a huge help); nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was beautifully presented and was delicious. A very comfy bed and large bathroom. I had a lovely swim in the pool within the extensive gardens. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chris, Trace and their very pretty home.

What we liked the most were the hosts, Kate and Peter. They were kind and really helpful! The breakfast was amazing and the tea and pie they offered at our arrival, excellent!

Both Collette & Albert were very kind and superb hosts. We would 100% return if in the area again.
