Le Relais des Fontaines was perfectly located for an overnight stop on my long drive home to England from near Bergerac in my 58-year-old classic car. Sandrine and Thierry made me feel extremely welcome from the moment I arrived. My room was beautiful, with a very comfortable bed, and there was also a large lounge, dining area and kitchen available to me. They were able to recommend a restaurant in the village for my evening meal and this was also very good indeed. Next morning an excellent breakfast was served. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone.

Everything was fine, and the host was also helpful. A good base from where to visit Montresor, Loches and a number of Loire Valley chateaux together with scenic locations.
