This place is 11 out of 10. Wonderful host Maria with out of this world breakfast including warm bread and pastries hand delivered to your door. We've been travelling now for 7 weeks and this is the best place we've stayed.

Eugene and I cannot thank Stephane and Gaultier enough for their kindness, hospitality and superb accommodation. It was like being greeted by your favourite friends after a long journey. The attention to detail in comfort and design was exceptional . A perfect marriage between French finesse and contemporary class with a generous helping of creative personality. The heated pool welcomed us on arrival with a cold glass of wine and beer. The restaurant reservation overlooking the Loire with a hot air balloon ascending was magical . We slept on a cloud of linen with a superb breakfast selection of local and homemade fayre but then discovered the car air conditioning wasn't working so Stephan introduced us to a wonderful mechanic who took all the panic out of our next 5 hour journey as the heat rose to 37 degrees. A fantastic start to our adventures in France after a longggggg time .

The welcome and stay was absolutely fantastic. The owners could not have been more welcoming.

Built in the 1830's, La Dixmeresse is located in Restigné and provides free WiFi access and free parking. It also features a private garden, terrace and a shared kitchen.

Everything. Beautifully decorated large French style room , great breakfast , hosts Charles and Geraldine gave us excellent advice re things to do and see in the area and were very personable . Would have loved to stay longer .

This location is a oasis! We visited the Castle of Langais and then headed towards the location. It is a nice building, more like a mansion , in the middle of a forest, with large domain including meadow where they have horses and a pond where they had ducks and water lilies. An orchard with fruit trees. The host welcomed us and knowing it was a very hot august day she provided, three water bottles directly from the frige . Also she offered fresh cold apple juice. Then she led us to the apartment and presented it to us. The appartement was quite large , WIFI, kitchen, AC, modern finishings with a horse riding theme. very very nice. The toilet and the sink+shower were in the same room which was great(For the rest of the world this might seem normal, but in France , this was not). After our check in, the lovely host left for a longer time and went in the city (the building is 10 min drive from the town). So we had the entire surroundings to explore alone. We went for a walk in the forest, we played ping pong and pétanque , we fed the duck with bread crumbs and biscuits, we fed the horses with some fruits that were laying on the ground fallen from the trees. It was a really nice relaxing experience. later the host came back and also another couple of turist returned. Next morning we had included breakfast (some products were made locally). We liked the breakfast a lot. To conclude: This peaceful retreat near the Castle of Langais, with its charming mansion, lush meadows, friendly animals, and thoughtful host, offered us a beautifully relaxing and memorable stay filled with nature, comfort, and warm hospitality.
