We liked so many things about this place. First, our hostess gave us a warm welcome (and even woke up early to make breakfast for us). Her cats were very friendly too. Staying here gave us a chance to disconnect from the internet, and from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our hostess was also kind enough to suggest some good, affordable restaurants to dine in. I wish we could have stayed longer!

The apartment is located in a characteristic manor that has been built in the aftermath of the French Revolution. We were welcomed by the host with a cool pint of homebrewed craftbeer and enjoyed 8 nights in a recently renovated appartment with a unique charm influenced by music and art. Everything was clean the beds were comfortable and the sheets had a fresh smell. We really embraced the fact that there is no WIFI so we could reconnect as a family, read a good book or grab a bottle of wine and prepare a good meal together. You can either hike through the forests or pay a visit to the busy and pittoresque town of Strasbourg and other sights. As a highlight we were invited to a gig with a remarkably good band from China performing in the brewery. All in all we had a great time for a very reasonable price.
