Wonderful welcome from Marie. Air conditioning was so welcome as we were cycling the Nivernais canal during very hot weather. Breakfast in garden room was private as Marie only accepts one family or group in the whole apartment.

A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Gannay-sur-Loire, Chambres d'Hôtes Domaine du Bourg is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the garden.

This place was an absolute gem to break our journey from north to the south of France. So much so we tried to book and stay again on our return but alas; fully booked. This stay was as expected: rural and rustic. The evening menu was limited but tasty. The people were lovely. Wine and beer was flowing and cheap! Pool was cool but a welcome chance to refresh in the heat.
