A unique experience ! This lovely old chateau in the process of renovation is the most peaceful place . The family were very welcoming and all was very efficiently managed. The accomodation is spacious and comfortable and our dog was in his element as there is an extensive garden. We would be glad to return.

This place is amazing. What Nicole and Dustin have done with this gorgeous stone building made me so happy. Perfectly and sensitively renovated with lime and wood, it's a genuine eco build with a very impressive greenhouse and garden. If you want to be inspired about permaculture or natural building, this place is a must. And incredible value for money too. Beautiful very large comfy rooms, a stunning bathroom, very clean and well loved, and lovely people. I'd definitely go back.

A brand new studio apartment in a quiet village. The apartment was very clean and all the furnishings looked brand new. The washing machine and parking were a bonus. We managed to meet the owner who was very kind and gave us great recommendations for places to go in the nearby towns/villages.

A stunningly old farmhouse in a picture postcard village. The room was more like a suite, with a lounge area too. Beautifully and stylishly renovated, the photos don't do it justice. My wife has been an interior designer for years and was pinching ideas shamelessly. We were late arriving due to problems on the road but the host met us without any complaints. He showed us around and settled us into our room, told us where to find a shop and a restaurant, which was 1 minute away and incredible by the way. Literally the perfect overnight stop in France and it wil hopefully be our regular from now on. The family cats and dogs make it feel even more homely. Oh and they have a pig. ❤️ ❤️

Absolutely the best hosts we have come across. Very clean and good value for money. Lovely thick towels and facecloths. They cooked us a really lovely meal as most places were closed in Ruffec.

Jon and Suzi went out of their way to make sure I had everything I could possibly need - including offering plant based (vegan) food, a great welcome and plenty of garden space for my dog. A beautiful pool and a whole variety of seats in sun and shade to enjoy the garden. A very comfortable room. G & T from the bar to enjoy in the garden. Lovely walks in the lanes nearby with lots of hollyhocks along the outside wall and along the lane. Very near to Ruffec and to the Charente river.
