Location just metres from the edge of the Loire , interior of the property was eclectic mix , was lovely and had everything needed , including 2 dining rooms , 1 large sitting room and two outside terraces

The room brings you back in the Indiana Jones movies and all those 1800 early 1900 movies and period. The apartment is i the addict of a house, it has two rooms and . It has a free public parking space (there are several in front of the building)- As it was a free day/national day we did not care about if we need to pay for the parking.... Out of the pictures you can see it is a special kind of apartment, but once you actually open it you enter the mesmerizing world that was prepared for you! A lot of antiques (from coins, old books, old type writers, even an old BB gun to furniture all is amazing). But then you have a modern kitchen with all the up to date devices (philips sense coffee machine, oven, washing machine, etc) all blended in such a way that you are still transported back in time but with the 2025 devices. Cool! . WIFI working, TV working , very modern kitchen. A family with 2 kids spent here 2-3 hours discovering the apartment, taking cool pictures. The idea of the apartment is that of an 1800 explorer tent in the middle of Africa /safari! I must say , we were impressed, we were blown away! So much fun. For one night stay , it took us a lot of fun time to explore the inside of the "tent"

The chateau is beautiful, photos do not do it justice. It is more impressive in real life. The building, the staircase, the grounds, all are beautiful. The rooms are very spacious. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. An atmosphere of calm prevails throughout. Old beautiful with modern amenities such as a reliable lift and efficient air conditioning and we were there on some very hot days. The parking is secure behind a security gate right next to the chateau. You can have breakfast outside in the beautiful grounds which is a lovely start to the day. It is a 12 minute walk at a slow pace as it was so hot into the old town of Samaur which was also perfect. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Set in Saumur, in a historic building, 6.5 km from Saumur Train Station, Chambres d'hôtes La Tour de Bellevue is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and bar.

Great location over looking the river, plenty of nearby parking. Very helpfully the host has a washing machine for clothing and dishes, and very kindly leaves a laundry tablet and also washing detergent. The apartment is well equipped with everything you might need and the sofa bed is pretty plush. Internet is quick. It was easy to check in and check out.

What a wonderful place to stay. My wife and I were cycling between Saumur and Tours, and were lucky enough to have booked here. The hostess was amazing, great sense of humour, and a super breakfast. Room was lovely with great personal touches. Definitely recommend.
