We Had a Bit of Bad luck with the weather but Thierry and His wonderful property Made more than Up for it! We Had a lovely time sitting by the Pool, playing Boules and hanging Out at the Summer kitchen. And every morning we Had a bag of fresh bread and pasteries in Front of our Apartment - Just lovely. Our host, Giles, was very accommodating and great to communicate with. He checked in twice to see if everything was OK and ensured us he was available if we needed anything. The accommodation was comfortable and well equipped and the location was great, with a bus close by that took about 10-15 minutes to get into the centre of Avignon. The small town of Villeneuve-les-Avignon was so lovely, enchanting streets to ramble around and plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and various stores. There are also a few local 'tourist' attractions definitely worth seeing, and within walking distance of the accommodation. We would highly recommend it. Thank you Giles and Miriam!!

The host, Katia, was wonderful.. extremely helpful, a great communicator and very generous. The food supplies included pastries, orange juice, baguette and delicious French butter and jams. Bed linen was fresh and new, and fold out beds were comfortable. The view is OUTSTANDING.. and spans from Fort St Andre across the Rhone to the Papal Palace. Sunrise and sunsets are lovely.
