The staff running this place is a couple and they take care of it like their own. Love the bar serving Guinness. Location is perfect. Everything you need is just 10mins by car. The room was the biggest one among all and we were so lucky to have stayed in it! We requested for a kettle and fridge and they provided us with a full coffee station.

    A beautiful house in a stunning, tranquil location. Hiking trails on the doorstep. 20 minutes walk through woodland paths takes you to a safe swimming place at Cambus O May Bridge. Welll equipped kitchen for large family meals. Grocery shopping at Aboyne CoOp 10 minutes away. A helpful caretaker.

    Amazing location out of the way in the woods. The bothie was superb and the kids really thought the stay was magical. Bothie was exactly as pictured and described and I would definitely recommend for a family of four like we had.

    Host were lovely, happy to go above and beyond. Tanar view is in an absolutely beautiful location, the house is lovely. Log burner, hot tub, the stars at night time are out of this world. The host send you information and everything you could need to see and do. The house is fully stocked with everything you could need. Child friendly, dog friendly. Perfect.

    Beautiful holiday home with the most breathtaking views. Well equipped and very clean. Hot tub was a bonus. Hosts were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Was great idea having board games for us to use spent a few nights having a game of monopoly. Had an amazing family Christmas. Will definitely be returning.

    Amazing location- perfect for outdoor adventures and close to the lovely Ballater Village. Very good sized property for multiple family/friends get together. We had 4 children age ranges 4-11 and they loved running around in and around the property. Great sized family kitchen with all the pots/pans/crockery and equipment required for self catering and cooking. Seemed very good value for money- we had this property during the end of August- still summer holidays in England (think Scottish schools were just opening that week)
