The keys were conveniently left in a lockbox for self-check-in, and we meet the friendly hosts, busy preparing to feed the ponies. A nice surprise was getting our picture taken with the ponies— a lovely bonus. Thank you Zac! The location was beautiful and peaceful, with a charming rural feel but still just a short drive from Sandwich. The property was very comfortable, offering all modern comforts and more, including a TV in the bedroom and an air fryer in the fully equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and cosy, and there was some milk, coffee, and tea. We also appreciated the great Wi-Fi and TV. The host kindly informed us we could check in earlier if we wanted, which was very thoughtful. Highly recommended— we would absolutely stay again!

It was located in an amazing place. Elegant and peaceful looking. Nothing fancy but everything was great. As a former Mercure staff, I wasn’t very much into booking any of the Mercure brand but I’m glad that I booked it. 😇 I would like to say a big thank you to Tom (F&B) for an amazing service with a lovely smile. Thank you for tolerating my requests every single time. 😅❤️ and shout out to Laila (my apologies if I said the wrong name) from Reception. First of all they were very helpful and let me rearrange my stay at quite short notice. It was clean and tidy and there was a nice selection of coffees in the room. The breakfast was excellent.

    We stayed here for one night before catching the ferry to Calais. It has good proximity to Dover port so was perfect for that. The outside space is incredible and our dog and 1 year old loved it. Stan was an incredible host and so helpful. Great that travel cot and high chair are provided.

    Breakfast was basic quality of everything and the English mustard was out of date. Dinner was very limited and expensive for what it was. Jacuzzi broke while we were in it and became over run with kids. Not what I would expect from a spa day

    Truly magical family break. The miniature oast house really is a gem. The whole family loved it. The huge field with swings, bikes and a slide were great for the children. We will definitely be back. The host is very helpful and friendly.
