Excellent stay. Luxurious room with bedding that was super high quality. Lovely finishing touches to the room were excellent but homely. Meal in restaurant and breakfast in the morning was excellent.

Delightful stay. A beautifully appointed manor house with the grand portraits, gilded mirrors and beautiful objets but with all the comforts of a much-loved home. Kris and Steven were welcoming and considerate hosts. It ticked all the boxes - comfortable bed, large and powerful shower, good wi-fi, on-site parking, a lovely sitting room to relax in and a generous breakfast - with real style.

Beautiful location overlooking the Peak District. Rooms as described. Host and team were really lovely and you can tell she really cares about her guests. Breakfast was lovely and there was plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits in the room.

Clean, comfortable, welcoming. Was meant to stay at the George but it was full. Having visited the George, we were really glad that they were full as WW was much better. Carol was welcoming and funny. Thanks.

Carol and her family are great hosts. With Carol front of house you can't fail to start your day with a smile, she has some very amusing stories and a great sense of humour. Good breakfast to begin the day. The location was perfect for a short break and the surrounding area is picturesque. Would definitely stay again

The welcome we received was amazing, nothing was too much trouble. We were a family group with a 9 year old and a 2 year old and attention was paid to their needs as well.
