It is in the country between Evercreech and Bruton so very handy for us to visit our family and the attractive village of Bruton. The chicken liver pate and the mushroom crepe in blue cheese sauce were amazing and Anne's Steak & Kidney pudding was scrumptious. Not chichi or glamorous or trendy like places in Bruton BUT perfect place after busy tiring day to eat and unwind. DELICIOUS home made food for supper. Try the steak and kidney pie, ate it in the bar near the real fire. Yummiest vegetarian cooked breakfast in the morning. such a spotless room. Really relaxed friendly owners and staff.
