The staff at the front desk were exceptional; always friendly and kind in answering questions and always smiling as we passed by. The breakfasts were always served promptly and as we ordered by a cheerful staff.

It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the country side, but it is also close to the beautiful city of Canterbury. Large appartment with room to spare and all the amenities you desire. Everything looked brand new and clean. 10/10 would book again. Would love to return there in the summer.

Close to Canterbury centre (Main Street), free parking, WiFi, big enough for a family with children and also equipped for a baby/ toddler. The kids didn't want to leave, that says it all. Only 30mins from Dover car ferry.

Oak side Lodge was a beautiful place to stay situated just outside Canterbury City centre. It felt very family friendly and welcoming. The room felt private but still had plenty of windows for ventilation and a fan. The bathroom was spacious and well laid out, and the owners were kind and excellent cooks.

The property is a 2-minute walk from the Canterbury west train station, and the high street is walking distance. The cathedral is a 10-minute walk from the property. It was a family-friendly stay. Mariya is a lovely host who is prompt in replying to queries and requests. She gave us extra toys for kids and was flexible with our checkout plans. The house is very clean and well equipped for a family stay. The area is a quite residential culde sac. We wish Mariya and her family all the best and would highly recommend it.

The apartment was immaculately clean with comfortable beds, nice bedding and towels, the things we needed for our baby (crib and high chair) and had a dedicated parking spot right across from the flat door. It was quiet on the top floor for good sleeping conditions

Lovely, character hotel close to the centre. We had a great family room which had a separate room for the children, very much appreciated with older ones! Very nice breakfast and friendly staff. Pool was also fun and a bonus! Highly recommended.

The location of the property was excellent. It was very central but yet in a quiet bit of the city. We enjoyed having a secure parking space and being able to walk as a family into the city centre. We really enjoyed the property which was modern and clean and functional for a family with kids. We will definitely be returning to Canterbury soon and will definitely be happy to stay there again.
