Absolutely gorgeous apartment in the middle of town. Equipped with absolutely everything you need....including coffee maker...important!! No parking but cheap carpark a few minutes walk away. Super big, comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Everything is immaculately clean. Easy to access. Lovely touch of a Christmas tree and chocs and little bottle of fizz. Will definitely return when visiting Carlisle. Host went out their way to try help when we had to change dates and also when I forgot something.

great spacious and very cozy authentic English apartment. A good choice for a family with children or a company of 4 people. We stayed for one night on our way to scotland and we were impressed with the hospitality of the hosts and the great atmosphere of the house.

We had a lovely welcome from Tracey who went above and beyond to help us when we arrived. Had a great welcome pack. Beds were comfortable, the wood burning stove was great and fun to use. It felt like a Snow White Cottage . The space outside was incredible as was the wildlife. We even saw a deer. The wifi, dvd's were great. It was dog friendly and also not too far away from Carlisle. The whole family were very nice . We would definitely visit again.

Fantastic hidden gem of a hotel. A little out of the way but worth the short detour. Old and interesting hotel with and huge comfortable room for our family with two adult "children". Friendly and helpful staff and locals, great meal in the bar and breakfast was perfect also. Highly recommended.

Felt they were very flexible in accommodating our family and gave us a lovely room. The bar/restaurant staff were also great despite being run off their feet with a function going on. We also really liked that there was a pool. It was just a one-night stop for us on route elsewhere but it was really pleasant and we decided to book the same place for a stop on route back home. We're hoping for the same lovely experience.

What a lovely stay - with an even lovelier host. Felt like being with family, without the family drama. Our room was very comfortable and I loved the bath with a view. My kids loved the Duplo (large lego) box that was left at our door to play with. Breakfast was simple but good. Would definitely stay again if we're out that way. Love the Aussie "Fabulous Four" as we were called.

Absolutely beautiful property. Good sized kitchen with everything you could need. Very spacious living area. Lovely back garden, and hot tub. I felt it would be the perfect place to go for a celebratory break with friends or family members due to the size of the living room table, beautiful outdoor area, games room and the number of beds. Kids loved the piano. A very enjoyable stay

Dalston Hall is a beautiful building in attractive surroundings. A special thank you to the member of staff who checked us in, while looking after the attendees for a family fun day that was also running. She couldn't have been more helpful, or more professional.

The location was perfect for us to break up our long journey with small children. Breakfast wonderful, all cooked to order, with provisions made for a gluten intolerant family member. We were a party of 10 so were looking for a small friendly hotel able to accommodate us all and really were very glad we found this gem.
