Arrived late at 10:30pm - Was informed they lock up at 23:00 so that was fine. Greeted, easily sorted room and shown key bits. Stayed in the bar until midnight chatting with colleague. Slept like a baby, comfy bed! Breakfast was delicious. Lots of character to the place. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay was lovely, we’ve been before and enjoy the quaint environment and traditional English countryside cosy surroundings. My son has coeliacs and was well catered for which matters a lot to us as a family.

I stay at many hotels in the UK throughout the year but this hotel exceeded all my expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending it for an enjoyable and peaceful stay. The choice of food and drink was very good indeed and nothing seemed too much trouble. The Fossebridge Inn isn't the Ritz; just a properly run affordable hotel delivering high standards which should satisfy most demands. If only some others could emulate!

The staff were so friendly and very accommodating. The room was huge as was the bathroom. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave! Also, the breakfast was excellent. Hotel in a beautiful location too with local walks if you wanted to do them unfortunately we didn't get to do this as was visiting the area to attend a family wedding

The staff were extremely welcoming and supportive, especially as it was my first time travelling alone. The rooms, bedding, and bar were all exceptional, and the quality of food was outstanding. I felt like royalty, and I can't wait to visit again! All for an affordable price, too.

Really friendly welcome and hospitality. Spacious family room with comfortable beds. Very relaxed atmosphere, comfortable bar and bedroom, excellent food both in the evening and breakfast. Our dog was made very welcome too and enjoyed her stay.

We travelled with our baby - the staff were extremely helpful and our room was very comfortable for us. The staff also accommodated all our dining requests even though they were very busy at lunchtime.
