Greeted, easily sorted room and shown key bits. Stayed in the bar until midnight chatting with colleague. Slept like a baby, comfy bed! Breakfast was delicious. Lots of character to the place. I have no hesitation in recommending it for an enjoyable and peaceful stay. The choice of food and drink was very good indeed and nothing seemed too much trouble. The Fossebridge Inn isn't the Ritz; just a properly run affordable hotel delivering high standards which should satisfy most demands. The bed was so comfortable that I didn't want to leave! Also, the breakfast was excellent.
