Booked Brambles for my elderly aunt as we were staying in Devon and she wanted to stay at a B&B. Dave & Alison were fantastic hosts, very friendly and helpful they went over and above for her during her stay. Lovely big room with a beautiful garden. Tasty drinks etc. and whatever she wanted for breakfast. She has been recommending to all her friends back here in New Zealand. Thanks

    Nice area very quiet too. Children enjoyed the outdoor space so much. Enough space inside the property. Digger land up the road which was a bonus. Hosts were very nice and attentive to any issues

    The little bag of toy cars and the set of giant Jenga blocks went down very well with the kids. The beds were super cosy and comfortable with lovely fleece blankets, perfect for keeping warm under when sitting out in the evening.

    The location is a little off the beaten track but well worth the short drive from the m25. The place was very clean, well equipped and the breakfast was lovely. I would highly recommend. There is a great beer garden (large with a nice kids play area). I would definitely stay again. Staff were very friendly

    This is how an English pub should be! A friendly welcome and enthusiastic staff. Quiz night in the bar was great fun, full of locals and loudly competitive. The pub is down windy lanes in a lovely quiet hamlet and well worth the journey to find it.
