Spent a birthday weekend there with friends and couldn’t have asked for anything more. The place was immaculate and much larger than we were expecting. The owners are lovely and incredibly helpful and clearly care about their guests enjoying their stay. 10/10 would return and stay if/ when back in the Lake District!

Really loved the old beams the sizes of the rooms were really big. Tv plus facilities for internet including desk to work at. Kitchen dining was good size and well equipped.Approach and into the courtyard very pretty. The village it’s self very attractive, excellent fish and chips! Overall well deserved excellent

An excellent accommodation The room was a little single room but had plenty of room. The bed was very comfortable. A very friendly and helpful landlady welcomed me warmly. The breakfast of homemade food was outstandingly delicious. I will definitely visit again.

    Perfect location for us, close to Carlisle for visiting family but also on the edge of the Lake District. Lovely flat with everything you need on your doorstep including a small supermarket, fish & chip shop and a couple of pubs within walking distance. Some nice walks nearby too, including one into Carlisle along the river. Kerry is a fantastic host.
